Setup On a Private cloud, or on-site¶
This section goes over what needs to be set-up for a client to use 3DIAX Libraries. Tasks are labled as by who needs to do them in some situations. Authentise, Site-Admin, or Bureau-Admin to indicate who is enabled to do that work.
Base Install (Optional)¶
For most users, our mulit-tenent solution on authetnise.com is the right way to start. If you optioned for doing an on-site install, please contact info@authenties.com for full information, if this is the path you are on. Base Install is outside the scope of this docuemnt.
Create Bureau (Authentise/Site-Admin)¶
To track resoruces and permsisions, we use a Bureau to group user, models, and files that belong to one license/contract with Authentise. For cloud hosted, Authentise will create the customer Bureau. For custom cloud installs, a Site-Admin will do this. Contact info@authentise.com for this work to be done.
Populate Example/Base data (Authentise/Site-Admin)¶
Every Bureau comes with example data populated, to enable faster testing and deployment for customers. For cloud hosted, Authentise will populate example/base data for the Bureau. For custom cloud installs, a Site-Admin will do this. Contact info@authentise.com for this work to be done.
Create Initial Users (Authentise/Site-Admin)¶
Every Bureau will need one or more Bureau-Admin‘s. These are users empowered to add more users, enable bureau-wide features, and control settings. For cloud hosted, Authentise will create your Bureal-Admin’s. For custom cloud installs, a Site-Admin will do this. Contact info@authentise.com for this work to be done.
From there, the Bureau-Admin will add users to the system, as well as control settings for location, permisiosns, and notifications.
Enable Customisation (Authentise/Site-Admin)¶
Authentise is more than happy to customize our system, based on customer needs. Bureau Freatures control entire sub-systems that a Bureau can use. Bureau Settings are used for more detailed settings, or to configure some custom values. For cloud hosted, Authentise will create your Bureal-Admin’s. For custom cloud installs, a Site-Admin will do this. Contact info@authentise.com for this work to be done.
